Matt & Kim – “Let’s Go”

You’d think that a song called “Let’s Go” would be right up to speed for Matt & Kim, but the Brooklyn duo scaled back the hyperactivity for the first single off their upcoming fourth album, Lightning.

“Let’s Go” is as catchy as anything they’ve released, but they’ve definitely changed since the dance-punk days of “Yeah, Yeah.” The new single has the big production of their recent albums like Grand and Sidewalks, and even though Kim’s drums are toned-down, Matt still brings huge hooks. You can’t help but sing along.
