Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti is releasing a new album, Mature Themes, later this summer. They already released one song from it, a cover of Donnie and Joe Emerson’s “Baby,” and now they’ve put out the album’s first original song.
“Only in My Dreams” maintains the eerie, psyched-out vibe from “Baby,” but with Beach Boys harmonies and brighter guitar sounds.
These two tracks alone make Mature Themes one of the summer’s most anticipated releases. The record comes out August 21 on 4AD.
