The latest track from Passion Pit‘s upcoming Gossamer is their most R&B to date.
The opening of “Constant Conversations” sounds more like How to Dress Well‘s deep beats and falsetto vocals, before singer Michael Angelakos jumps in. The staccato keyboard adds a lighter touch to the chorus, but overall it maintains a thick R&B groove.
Passion Pit is definitely taking a few risks on their sophomore album, but it sounds like it’s paying off.
