Matthew Dear – “Earthforms”

Matthew Dear just released another song from his upcoming album, Beams.

The first single, “Her Fantasy,” was a beat-heavy dance track, but “Earthforms” goes in a completely new direction. The new song has no glitches or clicks, just a steady, driving bassline and quick-tempo drums. It might be the closest Dear’s ever come to a straight-forward rocker. Without his distinct baritone, you could almost mistake it for a Strokes song.

Beams is out August 28 on Ghostly.
