This is a bit old, but new music from the Avett Brothers is always worth mentioning. The band — brothers Seth and Scott Avett, Bob Crawford and Joe Kwon — are releasing their seventh studio album, The Carpenter, in September.
They again worked with producer Rick Rubin, who also produced their last effort, I and Love and You.
The new album’s first single, “Live and Die,” was streamed on NPR’s website and never really made it much farther. But finally, it’s on SoundCloud, and you can stream the wonderful new track below.
