Joe Strummer would have been 60 this year. Before he died, the former Clash frontman was working on a very underrated project called Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros. They released three great albums, and earlier this year, a 57-track digital compilation — Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros: The Hellcat Years – came out. Now, Hellcat Records just reissued all three studio albums – Rock Art and the X-Ray Style, Global A Go-Go and Streetcore, with more unreleased tracks.
